Taipei Game Show(TGS) is the only game show in Taiwan. Every year, the TGS build up more than 400 booths and attracts more than 300,000 visitors during the five days. TGS has become a must-visit event not only for local game developers and enthusiasts, but also for international game professionals interested in investing in the Asia-Pacific region.

Drawing on its rich Chinese culture, Taiwan has managed to position itself strategically in the increasingly prosperous Chinese market. As a result, the TGS has become an increasingly important gateway to China. The TGS’ goal is therefore to serve as a springboard for the Asia-Pacific digital content industry and as a platform to promote more business transactions in the game industry.

In “Taipei Game Show 2012”, exhibitors showcased their latest games and products. Online and Console game companies, such as Sony Computer Entertainment of Taiwan, Microsoft, Game Flier, IGS and Runewaker…etc., make TGS as the best platform for new products demonstration. World-famous gaming hardware companies, including Cooler Master(CM Storm), Razer and Tt eSPORTS, also join the show and announce the latest gaming products and throw the most exciting e-sports games. In addition, the Job Fair, with 12 gaming companies participating, attracted 3,000 job seekers. The Video Games Seminar, which delivered a survey of the video game market in Taiwan, also attracted hundreds of audience.
