Now in its 19th year, the Taipei Game Show is the only game show in Taiwan. In TGS 2010, it attracted more than 300,000 visitors during five days. TGS has become a must-visit event not only for local game developers and enthusiasts, but also for international game professionals interested in investing in the Asia-Pacific region.

Drawing on its rich Chinese culture, Taiwan has managed to position itself strategically in the increasingly prosperous Chinese market. As a result, the TGS has become an increasingly important gateway to China. The TGS’ goal is therefore to serve as a springboard for the Asia-Pacific digital content industry and as a platform to promote more business transactions in the game industry.
