ASIA PACIFIC GAME SUMMIT

EVENT OVERVIEW

Asia Pacific Game Summit (APGS) was established in 2014 by Taipei Computer Association (TCA) to promote Taiwan’s gaming industry and strengthen its connection with the global market. The annual conference is held alongside Taipei Game Show (TGS) each year, with additional themed events organized periodically throughout the year.
Through keynote speeches and panel discussions, APGS invites leading industry experts from around the world to share insights on major topics in the game industry, including "Game Development", "Indie Game", "Operations and Marketing", "Generative AI", "eSports", "Payment Solution", and "Emerging Technology".

#Renowned Speakers and Dynamic Industry Exchange

As the highlight of APGS each year, the annual conference brings together renowned IP game producers and senior executives from multinational companies as speakers, attracting more than 2,000 attendees annually and fostering the exchange of international perspectives and industry insights.
APGS expanded to Japan in 2016 and 2017 with the "Tokyo Sharing Session", inviting representatives from Taiwanese and Japanese game companies to share their experiences in game development, promotion strategies, and localization marketing. In 2018 and 2019, APGS hosted the "eSports Panel" examining the evolution of the esports industry from the perspectives of industry, government, and academia.
To encourage interaction among outstanding indie game developers from Taiwan and around the world, APGS has also organized a series of indie-focused events to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and networking. In 2019, "INDIE SALON" stage debuted alongside the annual conference, featuring discussions on indie game development and global market expansion. In 2022, "INDIE SALON FALL" invited award-winning teams from Taiwan and abroad to share valuable insights on development and marketing.
In 2024, APGS launched "GAME LINKER", which continued in 2025 and 2026, expanding participation to include IP creators and tabletop game designers, exploring new possibilities for cross-disciplinary collaboration within the indie game ecosystem.

#Unveiling Future Trends, Exploring Cutting-Edge Technology

In collaboration with the Asia Silicon Valley Development Agency, APGS has hosted multiple forums on emerging technologies. From 2022 to 2024, "Metaverse Forum" was held for three consecutive years, analyzing the landscape through the lenses of industry, government, academia, and research, while extending discussions to Web3.0 and Generative AI. In 2025, APGS hosted the "AI Forum", focusing on Generative AI, Edge Computing, and AIoT. Industry experts were invited to share breakthroughs from their respective fields, followed by a panel discussion exploring the transformative potential of AI across industries.
With the rapid advancement of AI technologies in recent years, APGS introduced the AI STAGE for the first time in 2026. This stage focuses on practical applications of Generative AI and emerging technologies in the gaming industry, inviting leading international AI technology brands to participate. Through real-world case studies and expert sharing, the sessions demonstrate how AI can be effectively implemented and how it is opening up new possibilities for the industry.
Moving forward, APGS remains committed to tracking the latest advancements in gaming and pan-entertainment, curating high-impact sessions that provide audiences with deeper industry insights and knowledge exchange.
