Indie Game Award 2023ノミネートタイトル発表 170作品のエントリーで記録更新
新設アワード・ベストインメタバースコンセプト、優勝チームには1000米ドルを贈呈
台北ゲームショウ(TGS)が主催する今年の「Indie Game Award」(IGA)には、35の国と地域から170タイトルの応募があり、過去最多の応募数となった。今回はチリやエストニアといった国のチームの初参加もあり、さらに国際色豊かな競争が繰り広げられることになる。今年は全部で15の国から優れた28タイトルがノミネートされ、8つの栄えある賞を競うことになる。また、WEB3.0のトレンドを受けて、IGAではメタバースにおける技術応用やトレンドに焦点を当てたアワード、「ベストインメタバースコンセプト (Best in Metaverse Concept) 」が別途実施されることとなった。関連分野の開発チームの申し込みは12月12日まで受け付けており、優勝チームには1000米ドルの賞金が贈られることになっている。また、参加開発チームへのインセンティブとして、今回の入賞作品はTGS 2023の特設展示ブースで披露される。
台湾が国境開放！世界の先陣を切るゲーム業界向けマッチング
ビジネス関係者来場・マッチングシステム申込受付スタート
TGSは毎年世界で最初に行われるゲームイベントとして、年始めに先陣を切って開催され、ゲーム業界にとっての貴重な交流とマッチングの機会となっている。2022年には3つのリアル＆バーチャル統合イベント、984のオンライン＆オフラインのマッチングミーティング、5000回以上の名刺交換が行われた。現在は新型コロナウィルス感染症の流行が落ち着き、台湾の国境が開放されたことから、2023年にはB2Bビジネスゾーンのリアル展示が復活し、リアル＆バーチャルの同時開催となる。オンラインのマッチングシステムも同時開放し、国内外のゲーム産業関係者を招いてビジネスチャンス模索の場とする。ビジネス関係者の来場は、即日より2023年1月30日までオンラインで申し込みを受け付けている。申し込みをすると、展示会期間中にリアルな交流ができるほか、オンラインや実際の会場で、世界中の出展者やビジネスパーソンとマッチングミーティングができる。
