Board Game Wonderland

A. In 2026, the organiser will continue to present Board Game Wonderland, the most popular unplugged zone at the Taipei Game Show. This zone will bring together board game publishers, agents, and original design teams from around the world. It will feature demo tables and dedicated activities designed to foster player engagement, enhance brand interaction, and create strong exposure and sales opportunities for exhibitors.

  1. Each raw space booth has an area of 9 square meters (3m x 3m) and includes basic electricity of 500W.
  2. Booths can only be applied for in units of one or in even numbers. One or two booth units will include standard decorations.

Regulations

General Company Package

  1. Every booth has a set of demo table, including one table and four chairs. The number of the table set is equal to the booth unit purchased. A maximum of four sets will be provided. If you require more than four sets, please contact the organiser. The table(s) could not be exchanged for the extra booth space. Any transferring or reselling behaviours are forbidden.
  2. After the organiser receives the application documents, the organizer will send the admission notification within two weeks and mark the payment deadline. Please kindly ensure to submit the payment within the specified timeframe to avoid the cancellation of your application.
  3. Additional on-site exhibition costs, including decoration, overtime, and hanging balloons, will be quoted separately based on the actual situation and will be settled after the exhibition.

Workshop Package

  1. Applicants would be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please provide relevant document scans for booth registration via email.
  2. After the organiser receives the application documents, the organser will send the admission notification within two weeks and mark the payment deadline. Please kindly ensure to submit the payment within the specified timeframe to avoid the cancellation of your application.
  3. The exhibits must be available to be sold or demoed. Incomplete products are unacceptable.
  4. During the exhibition period, at least one staff member must be present on-site. Additionally, responsibility for the on-site arrangement and safekeeping of the exhibited items must be assumed by the exhibitor.
  5. Every workshop package has one set of demo table, including one table and four chairs. If you would like to request an additional demo table set, please mark the appropriate box on the application form and provide board game sponsorship items that are equivalent to USD 150.
  6. The organiser will conduct a qualification screening for the studios based on the aforementioned "Eligibility" criteria. If there are any matters not covered, the organizer reserves the right to the final interpretation.

On-site events

  1. To attract more visitors to join in Board Game Wonderland, the organiser is planning the following on-site events: freebies with purchase, puzzle game challenges, board game tournaments, and stage events.
  2. In the event of unforeseeable circumstances or factors beyond our control affecting the aforementioned activities, the organiser reserve the right to make the final interpretation of any matters not covered in this document.

Booth Allocation

  1. The organiser will prioritise booth allocation based on the order of "number of booths," "payment time," and "registration time”.
  2. “Registration time” will be based on the date of email submission. For additional booths, the date of completion of the supplementary payment will be considered.
  3. The organiser reserves the right to adjust the number of the exhibitor’s booths according to the venue capacity and has the final authority for the allocation of the exhibitor position.

Cancellation and Refund

  1. Cancellation of the booth application must be communicated and explained via email. Without prior notification, requests for booth withdrawal and refunds will not be processed.
  2. Exhibitors who cancel their registration before November 1, 2025 (Saturday) will forfeit a portion of the exhibitor fee (USD 150 for Workshop Package; USD 400 per booth for General Company Package), which will be used as promotional funds for the event.
  3. Exhibitors who cancel their registration on or after November 1, 2025 (Saturday) will forfeit the full exhibitor fee. These funds will be used as promotional funds for the event.
  4. Application that fails to meet the payment and deposit deadline will not be accepted, and the reserved booth(s) shall be cancelled. The Organiser reserves the right to reallocate the booth(s).

Notice

  1. Exhibitors are required to cooperate with the promotion campaigns planned by the organiser, such as on-site events and pre-exhibition promotions. Please inform the organiser separately if you are unable to participate due to special circumstances. Examples include on-site events and pre-exhibition promotions.
  2. The organiser reserves the right to refuse or prohibit any exhibitors whose products do not align with the exhibition theme or may harm the exhibition's image.
  3. Exhibitors are not allowed to sublet their booths or participate under a name different from the one specified at the time of application. If such violations are confirmed, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the exhibitor's participation.
  4. Exhibitors are not allowed to display products that do not match the information provided in their application. Products must not involve gambling, obscene content, or infringe on the patents, copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of other domestic or international companies. Any violations will result in the exhibitor bearing all compensation and legal responsibilities.
  5. According to the regulation of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, the events at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre are categorised as public activities. The music, music video, or music television played at the venue must be legally authorised, or it will be considered a copyright violation.
  6. Under the regulations of "The Regulations of Public Liability Insurance of Consuming Market in Taipei City" and in consideration of personnel safety, exhibit safety, and public security, exhibitors are required to secure public liability insurance. The insurance coverage should include the setup period before the exhibition, the duration of the exhibition, and the dismantling period after the exhibition. Additionally, exhibitors should consider obtaining property insurance, theft insurance, business insurance, and employers' liability insurance for the duration of the exhibition (including setup and dismantling). The organiser will not be responsible for compensating exhibitors for financial damage, loss, theft, or any other situations during the exhibition. If there are any matters not covered in these exhibition regulations, the organiser reserves the right to make modifications, which will be announced on the official TGS website (https://tgs.tca.org.tw/index_e.php).
  7. In the event of force majeure circumstances such as natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, typhoons), emergencies (e.g., strikes, fires, pandemics, wars), or other unavoidable factors, the organiser reserve the right to assess the exhibition's feasibility and decide whether to change the venue, reschedule, or cancel the event. Exhibitors can choose to defer booth fees or receive a refund for booth fees and deposits. The organiser will refund the remaining booth fee balance and deposit it into the applying company after deducting 20% of the paid booth fee for administrative expenses. The conference will not be liable for any other losses incurred by exhibitors (e.g., booth decoration fees, advertising expenses, personnel costs). If there are any matters not covered in these exhibition regulations, the organiser reserve the right to make modifications, which will be announced on the official TGS website (https://tgs.tca.org.tw/index_e.php).
  8. The organiser reserves the right to amend these regulations at any time to address any matters not covered herein.
